Activity Coordinator / Lifestyle Coordinator
Location: Astley View Care Home, Chorley, Lancashire
Hourly Rate: £12.00 increasing to £12.60 per hour from April 2025

Salary: £16,224 increasing to £17,035.20 per annum from April 2025
Hours: Part-time, 26.25 hours per week, 9am–5pm. Working on a 2 week rolling with rota.

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

About the Role:
Evermore Care is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to join our brand-new Astley View Care Home in Chorley. This part-time role provides the opportunity to plan, design, and implement a variety of social activities that enhance our residents’ lives. You will organise events, promote social interaction, and manage budgets while maintaining administrative responsibilities.

Shift Pattern:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging activities, such as musical sessions, exercise classes, community outings, and themed events.
• Collaborate with local performers and organisations to arrange enriching experiences for residents.
• Maintain accurate records, update care plans, and manage schedules effectively.
• Inspire friendships, creativity, and culture tailored to the diverse interests of residents.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a care or dementia environment.
• Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
• A creative and proactive approach with a passion for making a positive difference.
