At Evermore we know that making the decision to move into residential care can be a difficult one but we’re here with you every step of the way. From enquiry to move in our team are on hand to answer any questions and hear any concerns.
In order to create an individualised care package, it’s important that we take the time to get to know you. Before you move in, we sit down with you and your family to ensure that we learn all about you, from your childhood to your interests and even your favourite foods – no detail is too small. These sessions allow us to create a bespoke care and activity plan tailored to you as well as helping us to choose the perfect welcome gift which is just a little something to welcome you to your new home. We encourage you to share your interests and hobbies with us and tell us about anything new you’d like to try out so that we can build those into your care plan. Whether you enjoy gardening, dancing, trainspotting or crafting we’re here to support you in doing the things that make you- you. Our activity team is always arranging lots of things for you to get involved in, so if it’s a group activity that grabs your interest, or a bit of quiet time reading a book, we have that all covered.
Our homes are designed to a high specification to ensure that you can enjoy day to day living in a secure and safe way. You will find spacious bedrooms with ensuite washrooms, cosy lounges perfect for socialising and expansive green spaces for when you just need a breath of fresh air and a walk. You can take a stroll down our village walkway and have a browse in our shops, catch a film in our cinema theatre or treat yourself to a little pamper session in our beauty salon. We actively encourage you to invite your friends and family to visit. Not only can you book a private dining experience for you and your family to celebrate a special occasion, but you can also enjoy a slice of homemade cake and a natter in our tearoom, catch up over afternoon tea on the terrace, take the family for an ice cream from the parlour or get them involved with one of our events.
