There comes a time in life when it may no longer be desirable or safe to live alone at home. At Ashton Manor and Astley View, we build individualised care packages around residents’ personal needs. Perhaps help is needed with mobility, washing and self-care, taking medication, eating and other daily tasks. Before moving-in, we take time to get to know your loved one and your family situation. We want to hear about our residents’ backgrounds, interests and favourite foods – no detail is too small. This allows us to create a bespoke care and activity plan as well as helping us to choose the perfect welcome gift, just a little something to welcome you to your new home.
We encourage residents to share their interests and hobbies with us, tell us about anything new they would like to try out, and share any concerns or worries, too. Whether you enjoy gardening, dancing, trainspotting or crafting we’re here to support you in continuing to do the things that make you, you! Our activity team is always arranging fun and interesting things to get involved in, so if it’s a group activity that grabs you, a trip out into the local community, a get-together with your family or a bit of quiet time reading a book, we have it covered.
