You will be working shifts 7am – 6pm, on a 2 week rolling with rota.

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cook / Chef to join our team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality, nutritionally balanced meals for our residents and their families. By adhering to food safety regulations and Evermore Care’s policies, you will ensure our residents enjoy delicious and healthy meals.

About Astley View:

Astley View is a new, modern care home in Chorley, Lancashire, with 90 beds. Each room is designed to a high standard, and our luxurious service includes a variety of activities, an on-site beauty salon, an ice cream parlour, and a cinema room.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality, nutritionally balanced meals.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and manage stock control.
• Minimise food waste and use equipment correctly.
• Order catering supplies and check deliveries.
• Co-produce menus with residents, considering dietary needs.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and comply with health and safety regulations.
