Residents at Astley View Care Home in Chorley embraced the spirit of Wimbledon this week with a series of tennis-inspired activities designed to bring joy, connection, and summer cheer.
The home’s Wimbledon celebration featured everything from a lively tennis-themed quiz to a friendly game of table tennis – all tailored to create fun, inclusive moments for everyone involved.
To help residents stay cool in the warm weather, staff served homemade summer fruit lemonade, alongside the iconic Wimbledon treat of strawberries and cream. The sweet pairing was a hit with residents and team members alike.
