Astley View Care Home in Chorley is celebrating its second anniversary, marking two years of warm, person-centred care and a strong commitment to supporting residents and families.
Colleagues recently came together for a small celebration and staff awards, recognising the kindness, teamwork and steady commitment that shape daily life in the home. The awards reflected the qualities that help Astley View Care Home feel welcoming and settled for the people who live there.

Home Manager Christina Durnan said: “Reaching two years is a lovely milestone, and I’m proud of the team for the care and attention they bring to every day. Everything we do is about creating a home where people feel safe, valued and listened to.”
The home is now preparing for the Astley View Christmas Market on Friday 6th December, with festive stalls, music and activities for all ages. Families and members of the local community are warmly invited to attend.
