Autumn colours provided the inspiration for the latest Art Club at Astley View Care Home in Chorley.
Residents worked with paints, pastels, leaves and other natural materials, experimenting with different colours and textures to create their own seasonal artwork.Art Club is part of the varied activities programme at Astley View.
Our team gets to know residents and their interests, so the calendar can include activities they already enjoy as well as opportunities to try something different.
Creative activities can be enjoyed individually or as a group, and there is no set way to take part. During this session, residents developed their own ideas and designs, with each finished piece looking quite different from the next.
