Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.20 per hour + Overtime £16.50 + Paid Breaks
Annual Salary: £28,828.80 per year

Welcome Bonus: £1,000

• £500 paid after successfully passing your 3-month probation.
• £500 paid after successfully passing your 6-month probation.

Evermore Care is seeking dedicated Night Senior Care Assistants to join our new service, Astley View, located in Chorley, Lancashire. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, mentor, and supervise a team of care assistants while providing exceptional person-centred care to residents.

Hours: 8pm – 8am shifts on a two-week rolling rota:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

About the Role:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will act as a role model, offering guidance and support to the care team. You will be responsible for administering medication, identifying signs of deterioration in residents’ conditions, and directing care appropriately. The role requires confidence in liaising with healthcare professionals and promoting high standards of care.

Experience:

• Proven experience in elderly care and dementia care settings.
• Demonstrated experience working overnight shifts and a genuine commitment to person-centred care.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

Main Responsibilities:

• Mentor and support the care assistants, providing knowledge and a caring management style.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop personalised care plans.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements set by the Care Quality Commission.
