Our state-of the-art care home in Lancaster offers the highest quality residential and dementia respite care, and is the perfect choice for families looking for temporary care for their loved ones over the summer holiday period.
After an extremely challenging year, many families are looking to get away for a well-deserved break over the next few months. But for those caring for their elderly relatives, getting some time away to relax and recuperate can seem like an impossible dream.
Helping families plan ahead, our respite care package caters both for individual residents, as well as couples, and offers short-term residents the same high standard of 24-hour care and attention-to-detail our long-term residents enjoy.
Our respite service has been designed to give families peace-of-mind that their loved ones will be cared for in a comfortable and stimulating environment while they are on holiday.
With bedrooms over three floors and features such as specially designed day rooms and lounge areas, a tearoom, hairdressing salon, library and cinema room, residents will be truly at home. And on those lovely warmer summer days, the beautifully landscaped internal courtyard and upper-floor terraces will provide the perfect environment for residents to enjoy a relaxing break of their own.
Our Carers and Lifestyle teams are passionate about making our residents’ time at Ashton Manor a happy experience, with restaurant-quality food and engaging activities to support mental and physical wellbeing. In fact, many of our short-term residents enjoy their time at Ashton Manor so much, they choose to return or stay permanently!
While families are away, it’s easy to stay in touch too – internet access and video calling help our residents stay in touch with their loved ones remotely.
